Roadmap to Success

I recently went on an out of state trip and the first thing I did when I got my rental car was obtain a map so I could figure out how to reach my destination. I have found that each of us needs a similar map when we begin to look at our lives and what we as individuals want to accomplish. That map is shown below, with instructions following. The steps are intentional. Most people will skip many or will not do some, but that only delays their progress. Before you build a building, you must have a good foundation. You can Google these items to find out more or you can contact us for a Personal Directions Notebook that has been developed specifically to document and organize each item or goal. Either way, when you write the items for your map on a sheet of paper, you will accomplish much more in much less time.

Second, you identify your values, which are your guidance systems. Third, analyze your skills, talents, experiences, strengths, weaknesses, and passions, then, balance those against your Vision and Mission Statements to determine what goals you need to set in eight life areas. Finally, you create a Goal Action Plan for each goal you have set.
